Delicate yet complex nose, with hints of citrus fruit, and a good balanced palate.
A good value in Champagne, Laurent-Perrier's basic cuvee boasts scents of ginger, soy and mixed citrus fruits. It's medium in body and a little soft on the finish, but carries a complex flavor melange of spice, citrus, yeast and minerals. Wine Enthusiast (12/1/2004)
Refined, with a sweet, smoky undercurrent to the flavors of glazed pear, candied lemon zest and golden raisins, with a hint of marzipan. Racy acidity frames-but doesn't dominate-the wine, with a spicy note lingering on the finish. Best from 2012 through 2016. 12,000 cases imported. Wine Spectator (11/15/2011)
