Described as “a California take on the Japanese spin on Scotch whisky” by Master Distiller Lance Winters, St. George Baller is made from 100% American barley. After distillation in their eau de vie pot stills, the whiskey is aged 3 - 4 years in used bourbon casks and French oak wine casks and filtered through maple charcoal, before being finished in casks that have held house-made Japanese-style plum liqueur.
