Alpamanta, along with its vineyards, is located at 950 meters above sea level (3116 ft) in Ugarteche, Luján de Cuyo, in the province of Mendoza; First Wine Region of Argentina. It is a completely biodynamic terroir of 35 hectares (86 acres) in an arid climate with 340 days of sunshine a year. The irrigation system is drip and supplied by pure water from the melting ice of the Andes.
